Having your own Personal 800 Number allows you to receive calls directly from your hearing callers without the complications of extension numbers or instructions.
Here's how your Personal 800 Number works:
- The hearing caller dials your 800 number using a standard telephone or a cellular phone.
- A video interpreter answers the call and automatically connects the hearing caller to your videophone or webcam.
- Your VRS call is now underway!
If you're not available to receive the VRS call, our new feature, Who Just Called, will send you an email and/or text message with the name and telephone number of the hearing caller. Also, if the hearing caller wishes to leave you a video message, the interpreter will record a signed message and send it to you via email.
