VRS is Easy to Use
VRS, or Video Relay Service, allows deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to make and receive telephone calls to/from any hearing person. Using a real-time video connection to an interpreter (through a TV or a PC), a deaf or hard-of-hearing individual uses the interpreter to relay the conversation between themselves and the hearing person on the other end of the call. The interpreter is involved in real–time and in complete confidence for the entire call. Call the doctor, call a neighbor, order pizza, call the plumber, call the family... call any hearing person using VRS — and let any hearing person call you.
VRS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can place calls in the USA or call internationally to over 45 countries. If you want to call someone who speaks Spanish — terrific — use our SpanishVRS.
We are confident that we can help you get started with VRS. If you already have a videophone you should add CSDVRS.tv to your speed-dial and give our service a try. (click here to learn how to add CSDVRS.tv to your videophone)
